Pak-China Technical & Vocational Institute (PCT&VI), part of the University of Gwadar (UG), has announced 16 key positions across various subjects. This initiative aims to drive excellence in technology, acting as a catalyst for positive change in the province, particularly in coastal areas.
As per the official statement of UG, the services of eligible candidates as contractual teaching faculty or instructors are required at a BPS-17 in various disciplines of PCT&VI.
Two teaching faculty members are seeking to join the Maritime Business and Port Management department, a department focusing on equipping locals with the skills needed to excel in the flourishing green business sector of the region.
The Software Technology department requires three positions, while the E-commerce and Tourism and Hotel Management departments each have openings for two positions.
There are two BPS-17 grade vacancies in the English department, and one each for Electrical Engineer and Mechanical Engineer positions at PCT&VI. The Statistics and Mathematics departments each have one vacancy in the BPS-17 grade.
As Gwadar serves as the gateway to the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), a flagship project of China’s Belt & Road Initiative (BRI), proficiency in the Chinese language opens doors to numerous white-collar opportunities for locals. The institute is seeking a skilled faculty member for Chinese language teachers to empower local students for potential careers within the CPEC framework. The potential candidate must have a 1st Class BS degree from an HEC-recognized institution while the candidate with an additional one-year Diploma with HSK-4 will be given more preferences.
