President Xi vows to prevent debt risks
President of China, Xi Jinping, while addressing the second annual Belt and Road Forum in Beijing, said that China will ensure that all forms of debt risks are prevented, saying that there will be “zero tolerance” for corruption in the BRI projects. He further stressed that the BRI is an inclusive project, whose implementation needs to be done with complete transparency. Prime Minister Imran Khan, during his keynote speech, stressed on building an anti-corruption cooperation mechanism, under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
